Alternative Payments is building the financial operating system for SMBs, consolidating the disconnected tech stack that holds service‑based businesses back. We’re growing fast and building a global team that ships real solutions for real customers and real impact.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Alti, our AI agent product. You’ll ship end‑to‑end features, work with LLMs and data, and help scale the product with a small squad and a PM/Designer in a fast‑paced startup.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a software engineer building and shipping product features.
• Hands-on work on AI products in the last 12 months (LLMs, agents, AI features).
• Experience with at least one of: chatbots/conversational AI, RAG, or LLM evaluation pipelines.
• Strong skills in at least one of Go, TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• A product mindset: you care about what gets delivered to users, not only the model.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment where you own many parts of the delivery chain.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Build and ship Alti product features end to end, from conversational AI to agents and automated routines.
• Design and improve RAG pipelines and prompt strategies.
• Build LLM evaluation pipelines to measure quality and catch regressions.
• Set up monitoring and observability for AI features: prompts, models and usage.
• Help take ML models to production with monitoring and continuous feedback loops.
• Partner with Product and Design to find where AI and ML can solve real customer problems.
