Job summary

Travelers Companies, Inc. is building the future of insurance through Team Breeze, focusing on AI agents, LLMs, and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will design, implement and operate high-visibility AI applications, with end-to-end RAG pipelines and cost-aware AWS services.

The role requires a strong software engineering background, hands-on experience with AWS, EKS, Terraform and CI/CD, and leadership to mentor teammates. Travel benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI apps with LLM agents and retrieval pipelines.
• Orchestrate agent flows using Bedrock AgentCore or LangGraph.
• Own end-to-end RAG pipeline from ingestion to vector-store APIs.
• Implement cost-aware cloud infrastructure on AWS using Lambda, S3, API Gateway.
• Operate containerized services on EKS with Helm and ArgoCD.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Develop Python/TypeScript services and React front end.
• Mentor teammates and improve engineering practices.
