Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to lead a team of domain architects in designing AI Agent Control. This role focuses on tool usage, state management, execution environments, policy design, and multiagent APIs with emphasis on authentication, observability, telemetry and secure logging.

You will work across AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable AI solutions in a hybrid environment, with opportunities for IP development and academic collaboration.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science or mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent system administration and modern secrets management.
• Proficiency with AI native software development tools and code assists.
• Familiarity with Python, Bash, TypeScript and languages such as Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design processes and principles.
• Experience with cryptographic methods of identity and auth.
• Experience with modern IDEs, CI/CD, and code hosting (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE, AWS and Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design control harness intelligence systems for multiagent platforms.
• Architect agent identity and authentication in large-scale systems.
• Design post-training and tuning environments for agents.
• Develop synthesis models for AI open-source models.
• Implement and benchmark architectures against evals.
• Lead the development of comprehensive AI agent control frameworks.
• Drive requirements and implement through AI-native design.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infra to balance outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for AI tech.
• Present at academic conferences and contribute to IP filings.
