Job summary

Saragossa is seeking a senior AI Platform Engineer to help the firm build with AI safely and rapidly. You will join a small, high-trust enablement team, coach first-time builders, review agent and plugin architectures with technical peers, and own the foundation it all runs on: MCP servers, secure access patterns, and a growing internal plugin marketplace.

Imagine being the person an entire firm turns to when it wants to build with AI properly. A leading global investment firm has put Claude Code in the hands of people across the business, from finance and legal to IT and investor relations, and needs a senior engineer to help everyone build well, safely and fast.

You’ll join a small, high-trust AI Platform Enablement team and be measured by what others ship because of you. That means coaching first-time builders, reviewing agent and plugin architectures with technical teams as a peer, and owning the foundation it all runs on: MCP servers, an internal skills and plugin marketplace, secure access patterns and the guidance that keeps teams moving fast without cutting corners. You’ll also run tooling evaluations and help the security team close out code vulnerabilities.

They want real depth: strong engineering skills, advanced Claude Code fluency (agent teams, hooks, MCP, skills, plugins), a security-first mindset and the confidence to tell a senior stakeholder “not yet.” DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, Azure and mentoring experience are all big pluses.

Ideally you'll have a background in software engineering and more recent experience in AI engineering so that you can help lead the team in AI use cases and with an AI-enabled SDLC.
