Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Senior Software Engineers to design, build, and scale AI infra for training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines. This fully remote hourly contract offers 20–40 hours per week and high-autonomy work across cloud platforms.

You will write maintainable code in Python, TypeScript, or similar languages and collaborate with ML engineers, researchers, and product managers to deliver scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Backend services, APIs, or data-intensive applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern tooling.
• Ability to work asynchronously with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade software systems for AI pipelines.
• Write clean, well-tested code in Python, TypeScript, or other modern languages.
• Build and optimize APIs, data pipelines, and backend services.
• Architect scalable solutions balancing speed and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate asynchronously with ML engineers, researchers, and product managers.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Work independently on well-scoped projects with autonomy.
