Job summary

State of Colorado seeks an AI Infrastructure Senior Delivery Engineer to build the technical infrastructure for responsible AI, working hands-on with cloud platforms and AI tools. You will provide technical leadership, scale a portfolio of tools, and collaborate with AWS, GCP, Snowflake teams to diffuse AI capabilities across OIT.

The role offers high autonomy and accountability within a small, capable AI team, with potential travel within Colorado and a focus on delivering value to Coloradans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of senior-level experience in software engineering, infrastructure development, or platform engineering, including cloud-native technologies.
• At least one year of experience working consistently with generative AI models.

Responsibilities

• Translate vision into sustainable AI infrastructure initiatives.
• Design and build enterprise AI infrastructure to pilot, test, and deploy AI-enabled products.
• Provide technical assistance on leveraging AI within functions.
