Pulumi is seeking engineers to build Neo, an autonomous infrastructure agent that plans and executes multi-step cloud operations. You will work across AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and more, shaping a web interface and modular tooling for a safe, scalable AI-driven platform.

We value production systems using LLMs, strong Go/Python/TypeScript skills, and a product mindset. This remote-first role prioritizes candidates in the Pacific Time Zone within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience building production systems using LLMs, skill design, tool use and multi-step orchestration.
• Proficiency in Go, Python and TypeScript, with a track record delivering backend, CLI or platform tooling.
• Comfort with reliability and safety when AI systems perform real actions with real consequences.

Responsibilities

• Build planning and execution systems for safe multi-step infra operations across AWS, Azure, GCP and Kubernetes.
• Design tool interfaces enabling semantic understanding of cloud resources and engineering workflows.
• Develop context systems to learn from customer infrastructure patterns and usage.
• Create feedback loops and self-correction for reliable autonomous operation.
• Collaborate on web UI for a 'virtual teammate' experience including task assignment and approvals.
• Integrate Neo capabilities into Pulumi MCP Server and Pulumi Cloud.
