You will drive incubation from discovery through pilot to production, aligning with Albertsons’ AI strategy and Four Big Bets.

This is a senior, influential role located in Pleasanton, CA. You will mentor teams, establish reference architectures, and ensure governance, safety, and scalability as AI initiatives accelerate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of AI-led transformation, AI solutions consulting, or related roles.
• Ability to move from ambiguity to clear hypotheses, prototypes, and action plans.
• Experience designing and deploying production-scale AI systems across enterprise layers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and frame high-value AI opportunities tied to enterprise strategy.
• Lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data, and security from discovery to production.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and roadmaps.
• Shape AI initiatives across multiple domains including retail, merchandising, and operations.
• Design enterprise-scale AI architectures with governance and production readiness.
