Job summary

Techions in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Lead AI Engineer / Data Scientist to design production AI systems across GenAI, computer vision, forecasting, and optimization. This hybrid role blends senior engineering, tech leadership, and trusted advisor responsibilities for customers.

You will guide teams, translate ambiguous customer needs into concrete plans, and own the architecture, deployment, and monitoring of end-to-end AI solutions including agentic workflows and integration with foundation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/DS/ML or equivalent.
• 10+ AI/ML projects deployed to production.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks and RAG patterns.
• Familiarity with MLOps tooling.
• Experience with containerization/orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end ML/LLM and agentic solutions from framing to deployment.
• Architect agentic systems with multi-step workflows.
• Own the architecture for models, fine-tuning, serving, APIs, infra.
• Lead and mentor data scientists and developers.
• Apply algorithmic fundamentals for problem-specific approaches.
• Build DL models on unstructured data for production use.
• Design and ship CV solutions at production scale.
• Develop forecasting models and integrate into decisioning workflows.
• Work with Claude and other LLMs: prompting & fine-tuning.
