Job summary

Deloitte seeks an AI Governance and Privacy Specialist to operationalize responsible AI in real systems, including agentic AI and LLM-enabled apps, blending governance and privacy with software fluency to produce developer-ready guidance and implement controls-as-code.

The Senior Consultant will help clients and internal teams translate AI principles into practice, building inventories, risk assessments, and governance checkpoints integrated into the SDLC across Cyber, Privacy, Legal, Risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in AI governance, data privacy, security risk management, compliance and controls, AI product risk, model risk management, or technology risk consulting.
• Experience translating policies and regulatory expectations into operational workflows and artifacts.
• Experience prototyping or automating governance workflows using Python or SQL and working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment basics.
• Willingness to travel 0–50%.

Responsibilities

• Design AI governance operating models, intake workflows, risk tiering and audit-ready evidence processes for generative and agentic AI deployments.
• Build inventories for models, agents, tools, data sources, and integrations with defined ownership and risk classifications.
• Conduct risk assessments across privacy, security, model risk, and misuse scenarios and translate findings into mitigations.
• Establish technical control guidance for agentic AI including human-in-the-loop patterns, access controls, logging and incident response playbooks.
• Integrate governance checkpoints into product/engineering delivery through architecture reviews and SDLC alignment.
