Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior cloud security engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise AI gateway capabilities across multi-cloud and federal environments. You will lead implementation of AI security controls and secure API integrations.

The role focuses on scalable, highly available security architectures, policy-as-code automation, and governance, partnering with cloud engineering, security operations, and DevSecOps teams to drive remediation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud security or related fields.
• Experience deploying AI security measures in multi-cloud/federal environments.
• Experience with API integrations and M2M authentication (OAuth, API keys).
• Experience with AI architectures and LLM inference workflows.
• Familiarity with federal security requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise AI gateway security across multi-cloud and federal environments.
• Lead implementation of guardrails and policy enforcement for secure AI workflows.
• Automate policy-as-code, remediation, and governance using Kubernetes, Terraform, and OPA.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with cloud engineering, security operations, and DevSecOps.
• Maintain high availability architectures and drive continuous improvement.
