Job summary

SoLo Funds is building the engineering function of the future: one engineer, operating a team of AI agents rather than managing a team of people. You will own full-stack development across the SoLo ecosystem, using agents as the workforce and your judgment as the control layer.

This is a builder-operator role for someone who ships more through agents than most teams do through headcount, from frontend to backend to infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong fundamentals across frontend, APIs, databases and cloud.
• Hands-on experience directing AI coding agents or LLM workflows in production.
• Portfolio or GitHub history with shipped systems to discuss in depth.
• Solid testing, code review, security, and deployment practices.
• Good judgment on when to let agents run vs. write code yourself.
• Ability to work with high autonomy and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead orchestration of AI-enabled agents across the full development lifecycle.
• Own architecture, code quality, and reliability of agent-produced code.
• Design workflows, prompts, guardrails, and evaluation standards.
• Maintain security, performance, and maintainability end-to-end.
• Collaborate with product/design to ship fast with quality.
