Job summary

TeamViewer is seeking a frontend engineer to build and evolve its web client using React and TypeScript in Austin, TX. You’ll contribute to AI-powered user experiences, reusable UI components, and a robust design system while upholding accessibility and performance best practices.

You will collaborate with Product and Design teams, leverage modern tooling like Storybook, and participate in CI/CD processes to ensure quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building large-scale React and TypeScript applications with design systems or component libraries.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG/WAI-ARIA and accessible UI components.
• Experience designing AI-powered or model-backed UI.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and maintaining consistent codebases.
• Hands-on with modern frontend tooling, testing frameworks, and visual regression practices.
• Strong performance optimization and collaboration with Product/Design teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve TeamViewer’s web client, AI-powered user experiences, and frontend platform using React and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain accessible, reusable UI components, design system standards, and frontend architecture.
• Design intuitive experiences for AI-driven workflows, including streaming responses, tool interactions, and error handling.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development while ensuring consistency, quality, and maintainability across the codebase.
• Own frontend quality through automated testing, accessibility validation, visual regression testing, and CI/CD safeguards.
• Optimize user experience through performance tuning, accessibility excellence, and close collaboration with Product and Design teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience building large-scale React and TypeScript applications, including design systems or component libraries.
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG, WAI-ARIA) and experience building accessible UI components.
• Experience designing user interfaces for AI-powered, agentic, or model-backed applications.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and maintaining consistency in generated codebases.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend tooling, testing frameworks, Storybook, and visual regression practices.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, design-token systems, and collaboration with Product and Design stakeholders.
