Job summary
Axon in Scottsdale, AZ hires a Senior Software Engineer on the Enterprise New Markets team to lead design and delivery of complex systems enabling healthcare product ideas, translating ambiguous problems into durable, production-grade software.
You will work with Product Managers, designers, and customers to shape API integrations, AI-powered features, and EHR workflows, advancing proofs-of-concept into scalable solutions that integrate with Axon's platform and healthcare systems.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-based systems with high availability and performance.
- Experience with EHR integrations and healthcare interoperability.
- Strong API design and production deployments.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
- Ability to translate ambiguous problems into scalable, durable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of complex systems for healthcare enterprise initiatives.
- Evolve proofs-of-concept into production-ready integrations with Axon's platform and EHRs.
- Design AI-powered capabilities for clinical and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and customers to refine requirements.
- Coordinate work across engineers and other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Maintain high engineering standards through code and architecture reviews, including AI-generated patterns.
