Bet365 Company is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead AI-driven engineering on our facial recognition and identity platform, delivering scalable, reliable software in a highly regulated world.

You will mentor a small team, own end-to-end delivery from development to live, and drive governance, documentation, and knowledge sharing across cross-functional partners in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Proven leadership and delivery experience in dev teams.
Experience building scalable cloud systems, preferably on GCP.
Proficiency in customer-centric frontend solutions.
Exposure to NoSQL datastores.
Strong technical documentation skills.
Deep understanding of large-scale, service-based systems.
Familiarity with on-call rotations and incident response.

Responsibilities

Act as escalation point for team during and out of office hours.
Lead development of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
Apply governance around overall solution design and code quality.
Ensure solutions meet the needs of the Business.
Manage work estimation and production of solution documents.
Maintain deep understanding of the technical structure, domain, and architecture.
Guide a small team of developers in design and development of solutions.
Own technical solutions and hands-on delivery from development to live.
Promote knowledge sharing and mentor team members.
