Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a senior technical leader to design and build the core AI-enabled platform from the ground up in Palo Alto. You will architect production-grade AI systems that integrate with real-world financial infrastructure and remain hands-on with implementation.

You will design agentic workflows, integrate LLMs with external tools, and drive multi-disciplinary data pipelines across CRM, KYC, risk, and trading data sources.

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering and architecture experience.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar.
• Hands-on experience building production AI systems rather than experiments.
• Deep systems design and integration experience.
• Ability to operate in a startup environment and own projects end-to-end.
• Exposure to fintech, trading, brokerage, market infrastructure, or other complex transactional systems is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and deploying agentic AI and multi-agent workflows.
• Integrating LLMs with external tools, APIs, and production systems.
• Building RAG pipelines and data architectures across CRM, KYC, risk, and client data sources.
• Leveraging MCP and tool-calling frameworks to connect AI agents with trading infrastructure.
• Defining the platform architecture and technical roadmap alongside leadership.
• Driving client-facing implementations and complex system integrations.
