Moveworks is seeking a Principal Experience Researcher, AI to translate complex user behavior into actionable product direction. You’ll bridge end-user experiences and ML systems, turning needs into measurable signals to guide model performance and trusted, intuitive experiences.

This generalist role spans discovery through release, requiring collaboration across product, design, engineering, and data science teams to drive evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in UX research, product research, human-computer interaction, or related field.
• Strong grounding in qualitative and quantitative research methods with sampling and data interpretation.
• Ability to analyze large behavioral datasets and translate findings into actionable product insights.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication across audiences.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across product, design, engineering, and data science.
• Portfolio or work samples showing research process and influence on product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize opportunities by connecting behavioral data with qualitative insights to shape product strategy.
• Set research strategy and prioritize the portfolio around high-impact questions to guide investment decisions.
• Translate user needs and behaviors into signals informing AI and ML design and evaluation.
• Define evaluation strategy for AI-powered experiences with frameworks and shared success measures.
• Investigate model and experience failures and recommend improvements across systems.
• Partner with product, design, engineering, data science, and ML leaders to align on evidence-based directions.
• Evaluate concepts from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings with clear narratives, data visualizations, artifacts, and tailored recommendations.
