Job summary

Vanigent is seeking aSenior AI Engineering Lead in the United States to drive design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions. You will lead AI strategy, architect production-grade systems, and guide a team of AI and software developers to deliver measurable business impact.

You will lead RAG pipelines, multimodal AI efforts, and scalable platforms while ensuring security, reliability, and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software development in production AI/ML
• 3+ years LLM/Generative AI development
• 2+ years cloud AI deployment
• 2+ years MLOps / model lifecycle management
• 2+ years people management / technical leadership
• Hands-on leadership translating business needs into AI solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead AI strategy, architecture, and production deployment
• Provide technical direction for AI infra, model selection, and governance
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and determine suitability for company use
• Define standards for monitoring, security, and responsible AI
• Partner with product, data, and business leaders to translate opportunities into roadmaps
• Design and build custom AI products, including RAG pipelines and multimodal solutions
• Develop AI-powered features integrated with existing platforms
• Lead MLOps pipelines for training, deployment, retraining, and lifecycle management
• Oversee cloud AI workloads (AWS/GCP/Azure) and cost optimization
• Mentor and coach junior to senior engineers and drive a culture of excellence
