Job summary

SOLTECH in Atlanta-area Georgia seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join its Platform and Innovation R&D team, building next-generation Supply Chain Intelligence solutions. The role blends software engineering, data engineering, AI infrastructure, and platform architecture for analytics-focused SaaS products.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring/Hibernate experience and applicable AI/ML data infrastructure background, with a track record in scalable systems. Georgia residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing Java web applications.
• 2+ years of experience with AI/ML data infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in a platform/software architecture role.
• Hands-on software development experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
• Experience designing or supporting real-time and batch data-processing pipelines at scale.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding systems used in AI applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong knowledge of OO design, patterns, and multi-threaded architectures.

Our client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its Platform and Innovation R&D team , helping design and build the next generation of Supply Chain Intelligence solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML infrastructure, and platform architecture. The Senior AI Engineer will contribute across the design and development lifecycle for analytics and AI solutions used by the company’s customers.

The role requires an experienced engineer who can work across multiple areas of the technology stack, from scalable Java-based services and data processing pipelines to AI infrastructure and web applications. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management to design solutions that can operate reliably at the scale required by a mission-critical SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical AI/ML and data infrastructure experience. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems, taking ownership, and collaborating across technical and product teams.

Candidates must currently reside in Georgia. Relocation is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, mission-critical applications within a SaaS environment using Java and related technologies.

• Contribute to platform-level and architectural decisions supporting scalable software solutions.

Required Qualifications
