Job summary

SOLTECH is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the Platform and Innovation R&D team, contributing to AI-powered Supply Chain Intelligence solutions. This hands-on role blends software engineering, data engineering, AI infrastructure, and platform architecture across the full development lifecycle for analytics and AI solutions used by customers.

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals, practical AI/ML experience, and the ability to work across multiple technology stack

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing Java web applications.
• 2+ years of experience working with AI/ML data infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in a platform and/or software architecture role.
• Hands-on software development experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
• Experience designing or supporting real-time and batch data-processing pipelines at scale.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding systems used in AI applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, patterns, and multi-threaded architectures.
• Demonstrated use of AI coding tools as part of software development.
• Must reside in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, mission-critical applications within a SaaS environment using Java and related technologies.
• Build capabilities supporting high-volume data processing, communications, analytics, and generative AI.
• Design and develop AI/ML data infrastructure for model training, inference, and monitoring.
• Develop real-time and batch data processing pipelines at scale.
• Contribute to data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance practices.
• Develop back-end logic, workflows, integrations, and data-processing capabilities.

Our client is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join its Platform and Innovation R&D team, helping design and build the next generation of Supply Chain Intelligence solutions.

This is a hands-on engineering role combining software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML infrastructure, and platform architecture. The Senior AI Engineer will contribute across the design and development lifecycle for analytics and AI solutions used by the company’s customers.

The role requires an experienced engineer who can work across multiple areas of the technology stack, from scalable Java-based services and data processing pipelines to AI infrastructure and web applications. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Product Management to design solutions that can operate reliably at the scale required by a mission-critical SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical AI/ML and data infrastructure experience. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, solving complex problems, taking ownership, and collaborating across technical and product teams.

Candidates must currently reside in Georgia. Relocation is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities
