Job summary

SOLTECH in Atlanta-area Georgia seeks a Senior AI Engineer to join its Platform and Innovation R&D team, building next-generation Supply Chain Intelligence solutions. The role blends software engineering, data engineering, AI infrastructure, and platform architecture for analytics-focused SaaS products.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring/Hibernate experience and applicable AI/ML data infrastructure background, with a track record in scalable systems. Georgia residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing Java web applications.
• 2+ years of experience with AI/ML data infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in a platform/software architecture role.
• Hands-on software development experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
• Experience designing or supporting real-time and batch data-processing pipelines at scale.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding systems used in AI applications.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong knowledge of OO design, patterns, and multi-threaded architectures.
• Web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.
• Demonstrated use of AI coding tools in software development.
• Ability to work with engineering, product, and implementation teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, mission-critical applications within a SaaS environment using Java.
• Build capabilities supporting concurrent user activity, high-volume data processing, integrations and messaging, analytics, and generative AI.
• Design and develop AI/ML data infrastructure supporting model training, inference, and monitoring.
• Develop and support real-time and batch data processing pipelines at scale.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance practices.
• Develop back-end business logic, workflows, integrations, and data-processing capabilities.
• Contribute to front-end web development, including mobile-enabled experiences.
• Design and develop web services and APIs using REST and SOAP.
• Apply OO design principles, design patterns, and multi-threaded client/server architectures.
• Work with vector databases, embeddings, and related AI technologies.
