• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components
• Utilize Open Source and SaaS AI technologies to build scalable systems
• Optimize foundation model training, inference, and governance
• Contribute to technical vision and long-term roadmap for AI at Capital One
• Own end-to-end architecture for complex AI systems with observability
• Define and maintain SLOs for AI reliability and performance
• Collaborate with infrastructure to optimize GPU/TPU utilization
• Lead technical reviews for new AI deployments with security and data governance
• Mentor senior engineers on scalable design and production translation
