Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields plus at least 10 years of experience developing AI/ML algorithms or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience.
• At least 10 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI software components including model training and inference.
• Leverage OSS and SaaS AI technologies.
• Lead baseline optimizations for performance, cost, latency, and scalability.
• Contribute to the long-term AI systems roadmap at Capital One.
• Define and steer the AI architecture vision for production ecosystems.
• Lead AI safety, governance, and transparency standards.
