Job summary

CalPrivate Bank in the United States is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to translate business strategy into executable AI, generative AI, and analytics solutions on a Snowflake-centered foundation, with a focus on trust and production-ready delivery. This onsite role is based in Brea, CA.

You will design and maintain data pipelines, build modular AI architectures, and collaborate with Security, Risk, Compliance, and Legal to ensure responsible development in a highly regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience in AI engineering, ML, data engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with modern software practices.
• Experience deploying production AI, generative AI, data, and analytics applications.
• Hands-on with generative AI technologies including LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, AI agents, workflows.
• Strong Snowflake experience: data pipelines, security/access patterns, production workloads.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, Storage) and Snowpark/Cortex capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI, generative AI, ML, data engineering, and analytics solutions.
• Partner with data and tech leadership to translate AI goals into requirements and priorities.
• Build Snowflake-centered data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and architectures for analytics and AI apps.
• Develop prototypes and transition viable solutions to production with testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency or decision-making.
• Support data governance, quality, lineage, and access controls across AI initiatives.
• Explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership.
