Colossus Technologies Group is partnering with an early-stage AI security startup to hire a Senior AI Engineer to build autonomous AI agents and production-grade backends. You'll join a highly technical team focused on agentic AI, tool use, and scalable architectures, with emphasis on reliability, observability, and robust engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms and distributed systems.
• Experience building production AI applications, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
• Experience with LLM orchestration, tool calling, MCP, RAG, or modern AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy production AI agents using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Build agentic workflows capable of reasoning, tool use, orchestration, and autonomous decision-making.
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance, identify failure modes, and improve reliability.
• Build backend services and APIs that power AI systems at scale.
• Improve observability, testing, and guardrails for production AI applications.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to define the architecture of AI‑first products from the ground up.
