Job summary

TMS LLC in New Jersey is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Software Engineer focused on Agentic AI systems. You will design, build and deploy production-grade AI Agents using Python with FastAPI, multi-step reasoning, and tool orchestration for enterprise-scale solutions.

You will work on RAG pipelines, agent architectures, and secure AI services, collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Platform teams to deliver scalable AI platforms in a hybrid, in-person interview environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI preferred).
• Experience building production AI Agents / agentic AI applications.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar AI Agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions.
• Build AI Agents capable of planning, reasoning, tool usage, and multi-step task execution.
• Develop reusable AI Agent frameworks, SDKs, and RAG pipelines.
• Build secure AI services with guardrails, workflows, retries, and fault tolerance.
• Implement production LLMOps, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable AI platforms.
