The role requires 7+ years in engineering, 3+ years deploying AI in production, and a hands-on approach to design, testing, and governance. Onsite work in Rogers, MN with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development or data engineering experience.
• 3+ years building AI-based solutions deployed in production.
• Strong design, testing, and support capabilities.
• Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, NLP, or intelligent automation.
• Experience with API integrations (SOAP/REST) and data-driven governance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, deployment, and support of AI-based solutions.
• Set architecture standards, best practices, and implementation approaches.
• Define use cases with business stakeholders and translate to scalable AI.
• Collaborate with Data/Analytics to operationalize AI data needs.
• Ensure AI solutions run in reliable, scalable environments.
• Coordinate with Security for governance and data protection controls.
• Support requirements gathering and alignment with SMEs.
• Evaluate tools, frameworks, and cloud capabilities for performance and security.
• Partner with tech partners to accelerate delivery and codify best practices.
• Document designs, decisions, and operational guidance for AI implementations.
• Stay current on AI tech trends and governance considerations.
• Act as liaison between IT and business teams to ensure alignment.
• Provide guidance on system capabilities and best practices.
