Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support AI-enabled applications across supply chain and manufacturing. You will work with plant operations, OT, data engineering, and IT to turn business problems into secure production solutions with measurable impact.

You will lead ML/AI workflows for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, quality prediction, and production analytics, while integrating MES data, ERP signals, and sensor telemetry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or closely related field; 10+ years IT experience; 7+ years hands-on software development.
• Strong understanding of production planning, execution, work centres, asset maintenance, quality, inventory, and material flow.
• Industrial IoT and MES experience, including machine connectivity, sensor telemetry, and IT/OT integration.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure ML, Azure AI Search, Microsoft Fabric, and production MLOps/LLMOps (preferred).
• Experience integrating SAP or other ERP platforms with MES, historians, maintenance systems; familiarity with edge deployments (preferred).
• Hands-on Python, SQL, feature engineering, time-series analysis, model validation; ability to integrate model outputs into operational workflows.
• LLMs and RAG development, including document ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, prompt design, and evaluation.
• Azure App Service management and DevOps practices (Repos, Boards, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing AI and predictive analytics development and deployment for maintenance, throughput, quality, and bottleneck analysis.
• Industrial data and MES integration across telemetry, historian data, events, maintenance records, ERP data.
• Build and maintain reproducible data prep, training, evaluation, deployment, and retraining pipelines; monitor drift and quality.
• Develop LLM/RAG applications for knowledge retrieval, troubleshooting, and operational assistance with security controls.
• Create AI-augmented workflows: alerts, recommendations, maintenance requests, and auditable actions in OT environments.
• Full-stack engineering and Azure operations: APIs, services, databases, web interfaces; manage Azure App Service and networking dependencies.
• DevOps and production ownership: CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, incident diagnostics, and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, mentorship, and reusable design patterns; enforce secure, maintainable code.
