Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited seeks an AI Application Engineer to design and build enterprise-grade AI agents and tools. You will work with LLMs, multi-agent architectures, and cloud-native tech, delivering secure, observable, scalable solutions in Python and AWS.

You will collaborate across teams to craft integration patterns, implement A2A communication, and ensure robust workflows with Bedrock and Azure OpenAI. Strong problem-solving and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience developing AI applications and integrating LLMs with enterprise systems.
• Strong Python, asynchronous programming, API development, and OO design.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI agent requirements and plans.
• Design and develop orchestration and domain-specific agents using Python 3.12 and relevant frameworks.
• Integrate LLMs and foundation models for reasoning, tool calling, and workflow automation.
• Deploy and operate AI agents using Bedrock AgentCore Runtime and Azure OpenAI.
• Implement agent-to-agent communication and secure agent-to-tool integrations.
• Use PostgreSQL for task persistence, workflow status, and state management.
• Store artifacts using Amazon S3 and manage credentials with AWS Secrets Manager.
• Implement logging, metrics, and tracing with OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
• Develop tests (unit/integration/A2A) with pytest and troubleshoot issues.
• Document agent frameworks and operational best practices.
