Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned Python Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications and backend services. You will work with LLMs, AI frameworks, and cloud-native architectures to deliver scalable, secure software solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RAG workflows, vector-based search, and AI-driven automation, while maintaining high-quality code and robust CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI model integration.
• Familiar with AI orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone/FAISS/Weaviate/ChromaDB).
• SQL and database design principles.
• Git, and CI/CD with Docker in containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python apps and microservices.
• Build AI/ML solutions including LLMs and Generative AI apps.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
• Design RAG solutions and AI-assisted workflows.
• Work with vector databases and embedding models for semantic search.
• Integrate AI services like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude.
• Develop data pipelines for model training and inference.
• Collaborate with product and data teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile processes, code reviews, tests, and CI/CD.
