Capital One is seeking an AI Engineer 5 to build and scale responsible AI systems that reshape banking experiences. The role focuses on training and deploying foundation models, multi-model workflows, and governance across production AI systems.

You will collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered features. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in AI/ML, strong Python/Java/CUDA skills, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/AI/EE/CE or related field with 6+ years AI/ML experience.
• At least 6 years of experience programming Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
• Experience leading AI systems development and cloud deployment across platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how associates work and customers interact with Capital One.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training and LLM inference.
• Engineer and optimize multi-model orchestration pipelines integrating LLMs, vector search, and domain models.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to long-term AI systems strategy and governance.
