Job summary

Redica Systems seeks an experienced Senior AI Engineer to advance the first-of-its-kind QRI platform for life sciences. You will stay hands-on in code while guiding ML architecture and delivering scalable, production-ready solutions.

You will lead in an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with engineering managers and integrating ML services across subsystems, building data stores, microservices, and backend APIs using FastAPI.

Qualifications

5+ years as senior or lead developer in cloud-based code and system architecture.
Strong Python development experience.
Extensive hands-on experience building and deploying LLM/Generative AI applications at scale.
Experience with vector databases and hybrid search.
Backend API development with FastAPI.
Experience with microservices architecture and orchestration.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

Fully understand technical architecture and ML subsystems.
Lead in Agile Scrum with focus on scalable, maintainable enterprise solutions.
Prioritize technical issues with engineering managers.
Guide decisions on ML architecture.
Ensure production delivery and assist operations to resolve issues.
Develop, test, and maintain architectures for data stores, processing systems, and microservices.
Integrate ML services with multiple subsystems.
