Job summary

Danaher Corporation is seeking a Sr. AI Engineer, Device Intelligence to join the AI Product and Imaging Innovation team.

This remote role focuses on cutting-edge AI that analyzes data from Danaher devices to improve instruments and user experience across life sciences, diagnostics and biotechnology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement and scale AI architectures, lead multi-quarter projects, and align roadmaps with product goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, automation, life sciences or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• Experience with Agentic Systems, LLMs, automation, robotics and multimodal AI; proven end-to-end AI project delivery.
• Strong programming in Python or C++ with deep learning frameworks and containerization tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms and hardware acceleration (TPUs/GPUs).
• Ability to align AI development with product roadmaps and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with VP and teams to develop enterprise-grade AI platforms for intelligent instruments and autonomous labs.
• Design and implement advanced AI systems, including multi-level, multi-domain agents to enhance instrument intelligence.
• Translate product concepts into AI architectures aligned with success criteria and KPIs.
• Lead technically complex AI projects spanning multi-quarter timelines.
• Drive AI software stack innovations and build AI roadmaps for imaging products across verticals.
