Job summary

ICW seeks a senior AI Engineer for a fully remote freelance engagement from Latin America. You will design Generative AI solutions, build AI agents, and integrate APIs using Python on AWS, aligned with US business hours.

You will collaborate with a fast-moving team to deliver secure, scalable AI applications in a regulated insurance setting, and participate in client conversations when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software/cloud/ML engineering.
• 2+ years with Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience building or integrating APIs.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with AI Agents and LLM orchestration.
• Familiarity with tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Llama, LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI solutions using LLMs and modern AI tools.
• Develop AI Agent workflows and integrations for business use cases.
• Build and integrate APIs using Python.
• Work with cloud-based infrastructure and AI services on AWS.
• Support the development of scalable, reliable, and secure AI applications.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions, internal interviews, and client-facing conversations when needed.
• Contribute to CI/CD and engineering best practices.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS services.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve AI-based solutions as they evolve.
