Job summary

Nearshore Business Solutions seeks a Senior AI/Backend Engineer to design and operate a scalable multi-agent AI system in a secure AWS environment. You will build high-performance FastAPI services, orchestrate LLM workflows, and integrate Bedrock, OpenSearch, and Titan embeddings to ground AI responses.

The role requires strong Python/AI expertise, collaboration across distributed teams, and overlap with U.S. business hours. Remote work from LATAM is preferred with market-rate compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior software engineering with Python.
• Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs (FastAPI preferred).
• Strong expertise in AI/ML concepts including LLM orchestration and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a multi-agent AI system on AWS ECS/Fargate.
• Develop backend services and APIs using FastAPI for Member Services, Dispatch, Coverage, and Eligibility.
• Implement security, logging, and caching strategies across services.
• Configure serverless infrastructure including API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB sessions.
• Integrate Bedrock Knowledge Bases and Titan embeddings to ground AI responses.
