Job summary

Metas Solutions in the United States is seeking an AI Engineer to define and deliver mission-critical AI-enabled web applications. You will apply generative AI to build retrieval-based knowledge assistants, chatbots, and agentic workflows behind user-friendly interfaces.

Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, and DevSecOps teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. You will develop with Python, Azure services, and containerized deployments, focusing on performance,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering or related field.
• 1+ year in generative/agentic AI incl. LLM APIs.
• Experience with Python, APIs, data pipelines, and web frameworks.
• REST APIs, JSON interfaces, authentication, and external integrations.
• Cloud experience (Azure or AWS) with deployment/integration of cloud services.
• Git, Jira, Agile/Scrum practices and code reviews.
• Knowledge of LLM fundamentals: prompts, tokens, context windows, outputs.
• Eligibility to obtain Public Trust/suitability for government contracts.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance production generative AI applications and web-based AI solutions.
• Develop AI apps using Azure AI Foundry,Azure OpenAI,Foundry Agent Service.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation systems, knowledge assistants, chatbots, and agentic workflows.
• Implement agent and LLM workflows with tools, guardrails, and human review as needed.
• Integrate AI apps with APIs, enterprise data sources, databases, cloud services, and MCP tools.
• Develop secure, cloud-native services and UIs using Python, web frameworks, containers, and Azure services.
• Test, evaluate, and monitor AI apps for quality, latency, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, software engineers, architects, and DevSecOps teams.
