Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and deliver Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise knowledge platforms and intelligent search.

You will build scalable AI apps using vector databases, semantic search, and orchestration frameworks, integrating LLMs such as OpenAI and Claude, while optimizing performance and grounding to reduce hallucinations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering or AI/ML roles.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and RAG implementations.
• Proficiency with Python and AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, semantic search, and prompts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RAG-based AI solutions and enterprise knowledge bases.
• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Llama) into business apps.
• Develop AI-powered chatbots, search, and conversational platforms.
• Build and optimize data ingestion, embedding, and retrieval pipelines.
• Work with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, ChromaDB).
• Collaborate with teams to deploy scalable AI solutions.
• Improve AI grounding and reduce hallucinations.
