Western & Southern Financial Group is seeking a high-impact Senior AI Developer to build and evolve Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications across the enterprise. You will combine GenAI development with business outcomes, mentoring junior developers while collaborating with business partners.

The role emphasizes full-stack capabilities, strong Python/SQL/React skills, and a drive to explore evolving AI capabilities to deliver tangible, production-ready features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Required
• Master's Degree - Preferred
• Typically five+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI, NLP, or ML software systems - Required
• Advanced understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases - Required
• Expertise in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio of enterprise-grade solutions - Required
• Mastery of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face - Required
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technology initiatives - Required
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills - Required

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture and components of RAG-based applications.
• Integrate AI solutions into existing systems to boost performance.
• Ensure robust production deployment, monitor performance and update as needed.
• Work in Agile and cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
• Stay current on LLM models and APIs; translate insights into features.
• Collaborate with business partners to map problems and requirements.
