Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Titusville, NJ to develop agentic AI and GenAI solutions across pharmaceutical data, working with cross-functional teams to drive business value and patient outcomes.

The role requires a Ph.D. or M.S. with 3+ years in data science/AI, proficiency in Python/SQL, experience with Langchain/Llamaindex and LLMs, and strong collaboration with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or M.S. with 3+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Computer Sciences, Statistics, ML & AI, Agentic AI development.
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks Langchain, Langgraph, Llamaindex and full stack AI Engineering using generative AI technologies, data mining and/or text mining.
Experience working with LLMs from OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Huggingface, Azure and AWS Bedrock.
Experience delivering on Agentic AI projects using generative AI technologies.
Strong working knowledge of machine learning and AI platforms/environments.
Strong working knowledge of ML techniques such as regression, trees, clustering, forecasting, NN, Bayesian models.
Proficiency with Python and SQL.
Proficient with source control platforms such as GitHub or BitBucket.
Experience in the commercial pharmaceuticals business.
Working knowledge of healthcare data sets (EMRs and medical/pharmacy claims).
Experience delivering data science projects with predictive technologies.

Responsibilities

Delivering Agentic AI projects using generative AI technologies.
Building end-to-end GenAI powered solutions that drive business value.
Extract insights from pharmaceutical data and work with stakeholders to deploy model predictions.
Identify use cases for data science initiatives and support models delivering value.
Model creation, feature generation, data cleaning, and data exploration.
Produce functionalized, reusable code for solutions across brands.
Partner with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver actionable data science solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor translating insights into business recommendations.
Stay at the cutting edge of ML, AI, and Data Science.
