Job summary

FedEx is hiring an AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions that enable intelligent automation and advanced analytics across the enterprise. You will work hands-on to build scalable AI systems, including AI Agents and data pipelines, and integrate models into business applications.

Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Ops Engineers, and Platform teams to transition use cases from experiments to production with reliable observability, SLOs, and rollback

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of dedicated ML production experience.
• Experience shipping ML features and production-ready AI solutions.
• Strong Python and ADK experience withVertex AI in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML solutions across the enterprise.
• Build and orchestrate multi-agent systems and AI tooling pipelines.
• Ensure observability, SLOs, and incident response for AI services.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Platform teams to productionize models.
