Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field with hands-on AI/ML development experience.
• 4+ years (or 2+ years with Master) of AI/ML algorithm development.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of Go/Scala/Java.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, researchers, PMs to deliver AI-powered products.
• Design, train, test, deploy and support AI software components (LLM inference, guardrails, evaluation).
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI tech (AWS, HuggingFace, VectorDBs, PyTorch).
• Invent state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques for performance and cost.
• Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of AI systems at Capital One.
