Job summary

Lumin Digital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for AI to design, build, and ship AI-powered features across its digital banking platform. You will integrate LLMs and AI APIs into production systems with robust prompt engineering and safety guardrails.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software engineering experience, 1–2+ years in AI/ML integration, and strong TypeScript/Node.js skills. Collaboration with product and security teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or 5 years equivalent experience.
• 5+ years professional software engineering experience.
• 1–2+ years hands-on AI/ML integration or LLM-based product development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered features across Lumin’s banking platform.
• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into production systems with prompt engineering and guardrails.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product, QE, design, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end AI features.
• Contribute to the internal AI knowledge base and best practices.
• Champion security and fintech regulatory compliance in AI development.
• Conduct code reviews to raise the technical bar for AI work.
• Evaluate and adopt new AI tools and frameworks as the ecosystem evolves.
