Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy ML/DL and Generative AI models powering automation, personalization, and decision-making across FinTech platforms. You will work with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into AI-powered solutions, deploying on GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, and Snowflake Cortex.

Strong SOTA ML skills and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers).
• Hands-on with Generative AI models and agentic AI systems.
• Experience with NLP, LLM-based apps, vector search, and MLOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy ML, DL, and Generative AI models that solve complex business problems.
• Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to translate requirements into AI-powered solutions.
• Implement AI solutions using platforms like GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, and Snowflake Cortex.
• Apply prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and RLHF to enhance model performance.
• Develop and deploy autonomous AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, and AgentSpace.
• Integrate vector databases and LLM orchestration for retrieval and memory in generative systems.
• Maintain robust MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Stay current with AI research and evaluate enterprise tools and techniques.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and responsible AI practices.
