Job summary

Cogent Infotech is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to shape architecture, frameworks, and execution for an agentic AI platform and governance. You will partner with security, infrastructure, and business leaders to scale AI while maintaining controls and financial stewardship.

Responsibilities include leading AI platform development, lifecycle governance, security policy enforcement, and cross-functional collaboration across Azure Foundry, Copilot and enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, IS or related field.
• 5+ years in software/cloud/automation platforms with AI/ML delivery.
• Experience as a full stack developer focusing on AI.
• Experience with Azure cloud production deployments.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, SQL; API-driven automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead agentic AI platform engineering and automation provisioning in Azure Foundry.
• Define enterprise patterns for AI lifecycle, security, policy enforcement, observability.
• Guide model evaluation with security/governance teams and cost trade-offs.
• Contribute to AI credit management: forecasting, analytics, reporting.
• Build governance and remediation frameworks for AI usage and controls.
• Serve as technical resource for Azure Foundry, GitHub, Codex and related tools.
• Guide integration of AI experiences across Microsoft 365 apps and APIs.
• Mentor engineers and drive delivery excellence in AI projects.
• Collaborate with platform teams on security posture and compliance.
