Job summary

Fractal is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to drive an AI-enabled software engineering transformation for a leading Financial Services organization. You will use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and related tools to ship production code and configure automation across enterprise codebases.

Required are 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python and at least one other language (TypeScript/Java), plus direct experience with agent tooling and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proven daily hands-on use of Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor to deliver production code.
Experience building MCP servers, custom tools, skills, subagents, or hooks.
Strong knowledge of AWS and prompt design for agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

Hands-on delivery with coding agents to produce production-ready code.
Configure and customize agent systems and integrate with internal tools.
Automate CI/CD workflows and manage agent-based pipelines.
Ensure security, governance, and quality of agent-generated outputs.
