Job summary
PepsiCo seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineering Lead to design and deliver production-grade agent capabilities across cloud and edge environments, spanning supply-chain and global functions. You’ll own end-to-end delivery of agentic modules and integration patterns, embed within transformation teams, and scale solutions across domains.
You’ll translate complex business workflows into measurable agent outcomes, drive risk tradeoffs, and partner with platform engineering and enterprise application
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in CS/AI/ML or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years in software life cycle development and delivery.
- Proven experience shipping LLM/agent solutions to production with measurable quality.
- Strong background in distributed systems, APIs, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy AI agent solutions in client environments, adapting core tech to constraints.
- Customize agent patterns and enterprise integrations to solve high-impact challenges.
- Translate ambiguous client requirements into production-ready solutions with minimal iterations.
- Lead on-site performance optimization, ensuring latency and reliability.
- Develop implementation playbooks to accelerate future deployments and adoption.
