Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an AI Engineer specializing in AI Agents to design, prototype, and productionize domain-specific AI agents. You will collaborate with transformation teams, business stakeholders, and AI platform teams to deliver scalable, cross-domain AI solutions that provide actionable insights and perform intelligent tasks.

The role involves prototyping, coding for performance, developing an actionable GenAI roadmap, and leading projects with cloud deployment and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of total experience in software development, machine learning, data science or AI.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., Langchain, CrewAi, MCP, A2A) and deployment on cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prototyping, iterating, and taking to production domain-specific AI agents that can communicate and work with other AI agents.
• Write and optimize code for high-performance AI models and develop an actionable GenAI roadmap.
• Collaborate with transformation teams and business stakeholders to tailor AI agents to domains and ensure observability.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI agents on cloud infrastructure with high availability.
• Stay updated with AI/ML advancements and validate agents for reliability.
