Job summary

Relativity is hiring an Advanced AI Engineer to extend the Agent Harness runtime using LangGraph, LangChain, and Deep Agents. You’ll enable multi-agent orchestration, memory, and protocol support to scale Relativity’s AI platforms.

Expect to work across cloud-native stacks and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You’ll contribute to design and production-grade features, collaborating with AI, data science, and application teams to deliver robust agentic capabilities for RAG, tool

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Experience with LLm-powered or agentic systems using LangChain/LangGraph.
• Strong design instincts and ability to write clean, testable code.
• Solid understanding of modern async Python, API/service design, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud-native systems (Azure), CI/CD, and containers (Docker); Kubernetes familiarity.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent; English proficiency for technical communication.
• Preferred experience with Deep Agents, multi-agent architectures, agent memory, or human-in-the-loop patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend the agent runtime in Python using LangGraph, LangChain, and Deep Agents.
• Implement harness capabilities: streaming, structured/generative output, tool calling, human-in-the-loop review, memory, and long-running session handling.
• Contribute to harness extensibility, protocol layer (MCP, A2A), and runtime registry of skills and tools.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to match model usage to use cases and providers (OpenAI, Gemini).
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in design and code reviews; own components to production readiness.
• Collaborate with Applied Science and aiR application teams to move capabilities from experiment to production safely.
