Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in Frontline Intelligence Operations to help protect networks and harden systems. The role supports Security Engineers in monitoring for intrusions and fixing security flaws, with remote eligibility and in-person interviews in some locations.

You will own complex investigations, map adversary TTPs, and drive automated workflows using AI-enabled tools, contributing to high-tempo, cross-functional security efforts across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of security assessments, design reviews or threat modeling.
• 5 years in security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
• 5 years coding in one or more general purpose languages.
• Experience in graph theory, malware analysis, encoding/decoding, netflow or traffic analysis.
• Experience in cyber threat analysis, incident response or intrusion operations.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize intrusion data, telemetry and OSINT to map and disrupt adversary activity.
• Orchestrate multiple concurrent investigations and extract methodologies from datasets.
• Lead lead-exploitation efforts and merge datasets for a holistic view of TTPs.
• Collaborate across teams to cluster events into actionable campaign intelligence.
• Translate findings into data models and client-facing reports with context and attribution.
• Drive efficiency by architecting automated workflows and scripting solutions.
