Job summary

Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) seeks a Principal Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of large Healthcare and Life Sciences transformation programs. You will orchestrate 50+ person teams of AWS builders, partners, and customers, driving AI, data, and enterprise modernization outcomes across multiple concurrent streams.

You will ensure delivery quality, velocity, and transformation outcomes while maintaining executive-level relationships and governance for fixed-price

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technology transformation program management experience.
• 5+ years leading complex, multi-workstream delivery programs ($10M+/year) end-to-end.
• 3+ years experience in healthcare or life sciences industry.
• Experience with fixed-price, milestone-based delivery models.
• Experience adopting emerging delivery methodologies and governance for AI-driven delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture trusted executive relationships (VP+), delivering strategic counsel on program direction, health, risks, and trade-offs.
• Proactively manage interdependencies, mitigate risks, and drive accountability for program outcomes in ambiguous environments.
• Orchestrate across customer lines of business, IT, and partner teams, aligning priorities, timelines, and definitions of success.
• Define and track measurable customer outcomes as the north star for program success, translating progress into executive-ready value narratives.
• Own the program financial health, including forecasting, revenue recognition, change management, and scope control for fixed-price delivery.
• Influence AI guardrails and delivery models for AI-augmented development workflows.
• Drive adoption of AI-DLC methodologies across programs and establish governance for AI-native builds.
• Establish governance for agentic AI in delivery, ensuring observability, cost controls, and compliance.
• Proactively surface ideas to help AWS teams innovate and scale with customers.
